Nisha & Nishita Merchant and Masaba Gupta launched their ‘Festive’ collection at Fuel- The Fashion Store in Mumbai recently. Mandira Bedi once again proved to be a head-turner in yet another stunning saree. I have been waiting to publish this saree for quite sometime now … and I’ve finally found some real nice close ups of the saree and the blouse.
MandyBedi: At a jewelry store opening in kolkata.. For 12.30 in the afternoon, am I decked up enough u think..???.
I know, I know, I have said it several times “everything is fair in love, war and on the ramp”…
Apparently Mandira Bedi kept the Kolkata Fashion Week audience spellbound as she sashayed down the ramp. She set the ramp on fire with her sizzling looks and saree blouse design to match.
I think the juxtaposition of traditional fabrics with contemporary treatment and trendy blouse designs is kind of interesting.
Here is a post-show picture of Puneet Nanda with Mandira Bedi.
Generally, I am not too fond of large geometric patterns on a saree, but it doesn’t matter. Mandira can wear a big circle from the target ad, and she will look good.
She has personal sense of style, saree can only enhance it.
I love Mandira – she is such a doll! And she has such an infectious smile – every time I look at her, I feel like smiling and very few women have that effect on me!
For republic day, she put on this orange, green and blouse saree (and thankfully, she avoided the Ashok Chakra) and showed us the hotness that an Indian woman is.
Here is the blouse design and the Aum tattoo. Wished I could show you her other Om tattoo, lets just say that it is sexier than this one!
