Beautiful saree and spaghetti strap blouse. I think she can update her blouse a bit more, especially for a transparent saree as we have mentioned before, but we can talk about that at some other time.
What I want to point out here is, how to accessorize. Her earrings and her rings match the secondary color of the saree, perfect. the earrings and the rings, both have large matching pearls.
And the most important accessory that she is wearing, and it looks good on her, and it is an accessory that many woman forget to match, is that she has a good looking Sri KLM, which stands for (Kala, lamba, sundar – literal transaltion of Mr. tall, dark and handsom as referred to by a non-desi friend) on her side. Also notice that the Mr. accessory, who is perfectly color coordinated to Aishwarya’s outfit, is wearing colors similar to her saree and pallu (ivory tie would have been better, but white is good enough).
Just kidding… they make a cute couple and because of the silly Manglik issues and all that, I am hoping that they remain absolutely happy and in blissful marriage for a long long time, so one can point to this couple and say that, look, she was Manglik and they lived happily ever after, just like in a fairy tale.

I love Shwetha Menon (swetha menon for s/sh challanged folks).
She has a face that exeduces sexiness.
Simple black saree paired with red blouse and accessorized with red and black bangles.
Proof that you don’t need to buy Tarun Tahiliani saree to look sexy.

I love this saree! It exudes richness from the opulent border design, to the highly textured blouse design to the exuberant color of the lipstick.
She looks so content and I it is so precious.
I really really want her to be happy and have her marriage last a long long time mainly because of her “manglik” status. If something happens to her marriage, this silly superstition that manglik woman will destroy the man she marries will be reinforced.
I wasn’t very happy about various rituals they went through of marrying a tree and all that, but now, lets us wish the couple the very best

I would have preferred the painting with Shivon’s beautiful smile, but I think this one is more dramatic. It captures more of the depth of her personality.
I do agree that painting with Saree would NOT have been the best choice. It would have been too ethnic and would have failed to capture “A Welsh Sri-Lankan, living in the UK married to an Englishman who is half Scottish….” This one blends her cultural background well.
Here she looks Royal, and the painting leaves open the possibility that she could be the Princess from Srilanka or the Princess of some enchanting land from the Welsh corner.

We at saree dreams lament that fewer Bollywood actresses are donning saris these days, for glitzy events. The good news is that engagement and wedding parties still encourage people to break out their saris and other traditional attire.
The engagement and wedding sangeet receptions of Riddhima Kapoor, the daughter of 70’s teen heart throbs Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh was attended by many of the Bollywood beautiful people Rekha, Urmila, Gauri Khan, Dimple and Amisha Patel (pics below) in their best.
Urmila Matondkar in an unusual green and pink sari with the omni present Manish Malhotra in his favorite jeans
Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri glows in a bright pink sari, with Karan Johar holding a flower in the background
Jeetendra’s daughter Ekta wore a rather plain white sari with a black blouse
Zayed Khan (Sanjay Khan’s son) showed up with a hot looking woman wearing a pink sari and a strapless blouse
Dimple looked glam as always
The proud parents Rishi and Neetu with the couple
Karan Johar is wearing an interesting black kurta with teal accents. The woman with him seems quite a hottie but why is she wearing a sexy teal and tan blouse with a lime green sari?
Amisha Patel looked hot in a traditional looking georgette sari with a bikini blouse.
Rekha – the epitome of grace – is seriously over accessorized here although the gold and pink sari is very nice by itself!
