<rant> Why do they feel OBLIGATED to put bindis on every model; like the model will stop breathing or her soul will leak out if she is not wearing a bindi or something. Jeeez! Here are four beautiful women in a saree and suddenly they start to look like little caricature of desi women!</end rant>

If you go by the RTO rule and regulations it is mandatory.

all the motor cycle should be fitted with Saree Guard and number.

Besides, I have seen sometimes how a saree guard can be useful, including a skid launching an avenger with no saree guard very near to me, because the lady’s dupatta caught hold of the tyre. So if you plan to get any lady in kurta/saree, think twice before removing it.

One of the reasons guys like to ride bikes is to impress the ladies. Does it even make sense to have a bike where you would put their life in danger if they came close to you?

A very rare doll.

This was one of the limited edition dolls made by the Trendon Company and the current value of the doll is about $1,500-$2,000 and is very hard to find.

I am not too excited about it because the value of the doll is not coming from the saree or its design; it is highly valued because the Trendon made so few of these and they are rare.

I have always maintained that the petticoat is one of the most under appreciated part of the saree ensemble.

Of course, we would have preferred it if the ensemble had included an equally beautiful sari, but the ornaments set against the backdrop of the bikini and wrap worn by the model has a certain exotic appeal!

I like this, it’s kind of hip, kind of throw back to the traditional. It is a tailored piece, made to mimic a saree.

Can’t tell if the model is bare feet or has a transparent sandals on; but I can see that the above outfit might cause some shoe-emergency moments.

It has lovely embossing around the neck and sleeves. It has a smart neck-line, which enhances its elegant look. Also, the blouse is stretchable along all dimensions and hence you can get that perfect fit you desire. A truly exotic piece!

Some very distinctive and sexy blouse design. My view is that one should make the blouses fanciful but not intricate. As you can see in the picture, for the model on the right, the design looks eye catching but it also looks as if it is not fitted right. I like to avoid creating a design that is prone to that kind of unwelcome variation.

Interesting saree blouse designs. I especially like the one on the left. It is not uncommon for the fully curved, half circle design to not fit perfectly, so I try to avoid that.
