Indian women wear Saree only to open at crucial spots. They wear minimum of six meters of Saree, but they don’t cover their total body. Sexiest dress in the world is nothing Saree. We have population explosion, because we have Saree!

I don’t fully understand his comment, but I think what he is trying to say is that, just from the pure effectiveness point of view, as measured by the population explosion in India, saree is the sexiest dress ever.

The average birthrate in the world is about 20 births/1000 persons; the Indian birth rate is about 23 births per 1000, so the extra 3 births per 1000 is attributable to the sexy sarees that Indian women wear!

Also, the world population growth rate has gone down over the last 30 years and the number of women wearing sarees has gone down over the last 30 years; coincidence? I think not.

Which one of the women above are wearing sarees? The answer reveals a lot about you.

Answer: Saree what?

This means: You are Continental; never mind the culture shock that you won’t get. Keep looking at what pleases you in the picture.

Despite what it might seem like, he is not wearing a saree.

Dia Mirza was at Barcelona for the screening of her short film ‘Zahir’ at 3 GSM World Congress. After she was ready to head for a press conference, she called in the housekeeper of the hotel to make the bed and clean the room. The moment the housekeeper stepped in, she was so shocked to see a lady wearing a saree that she screamed at the top of her voice and ran out.

“Initially, I was a little taken aback and peered harder at the mirror. But later I realized that she hasn’t seen a lady in a sari before. They kept exclaiming in Spanish! They were quite overwhelmed and even wanted to touch and feel the sari,” offers Dia. Now, that’s what our saree does to the rest of the world!

A few months ago, Rani Mukharjee was asked by a fan whether a woman should wear a transparent saree below the navel or above the navel and she refused to answer that question.

I have no idea what would her answer have been. Does anybody have a clue or has she given any hints? I wished the Rani of Sarees would give some sign, or suggestion or advice or glimmer or allude to or something! I wonder! We mere mortals are left to figure it out by our own self…

Just kidding, she has given clear directions in above saree, and the directions are all pointing towards the south of the navel.

Bollywood movies love to show babes in sarees. While things looked elegant and graceful in older movies, these days movies present saree show with modern touch. While saree is still there, top just keep getting smaller and will soon vanish !

There must be a religious significance to the green bangles (wasn’t there a movie called Hare Kanch ki Chuddiya – green glass bangles). A light saree with bright blouse and a very thin border on the saree are nice.

I am just kidding with the picture above, but seriously, if one wanted to have an ultra sexy saree for cheer leader uniform, that can be arranged!

We have seen it in many a bollywodd films. I don’t know whey it can’t be implemented at the stadium.

This is what the Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) chose for the uniform. Lycra for body hugging movement. Strangely, some of the UK sites are calling this a saree; proving once again that they don’t know cricket and they don’t know saree!

We have talked about lycra saree in this blog, but this is not it.

… Have you ever been to a sari store? I had a serious case of fabric lust. I bought a pair of earrings that are roughly the size of a large lighting fixture and more bracelets than a 1980’s Madonna video. We then went to A.’s seamstress who is making the sari shirt thingy (this is of course the technical term) that goes under the sari so that when it falls off we don’t flash our ta-tas at the wedding. I promise to post pictures in May. Not of my ta-tas- but of the sari.

We wish her well and are looking forward to seeing her saree pictures.

I don’t think she is complaining about not having a matching blouse (bikini-top works just fine as a top)!

There is no way you can tuck in a saree in a thong, and there is no way the thong can hold the saree, even if the saree is transparent and light and less than 6 yards.

I am just kidding, but these days with the designs of the blouses being what they are, the boundries between different types of apparel are blurring.
