It was nice to see Sushmita back on the ramp after a long time and she looked ravishing at the fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week 2010.
Sushmita was the showstopper for Vikram Phadnis wedding collection and wore a gold lehenga and choli.

Gorgeous piece from Manish, oppulent, over the top, attractive, lavish, luxurious, and rich!
Not sure how it reflects the theme of “earth”, but who cares!
This is from Kolkata Fashion Week, September 14, 2009.

Candice Pinto in Manish Malhotra creation. Technically not a saree, but close enough!
opulence is the word that describes some of the pieces that I saw.

A model walks the ramp during Parinay ‘09 – The Wedding show in Jaipur. Looks more interesting because of the accentuated walk of the model.

I know there is some very ethnic embroidery on these pasties, there is some old world charm to them, but please, don’t put them in the bridal collection!
I liked their 2008 collection and of course the name of their line is Couturewala!

Not a saree from Marriage n vogue in Kolkata by Jaya Misra.
I still like the sareesque look of this ensemble.
