Juhi Chawla in a silver Saree and unflattering blouse

juhi_chawla_saree

Nice to see Juhi after a long time.

I just find the blouse cut to be very unflattering – she could have gone sleeveless or at least have it fitted better. Jewelry needs to be a slightly more contrasting too.

Oh well, I am just happy to see her smiling face!

A little too “matched” for my taste, but it still looks hip.

Love the sepia tone of the picture with the antique white saree.

The first picture is kind of interesting; each women in a different colored saree, but they still seem to be matched b/c the design on each one of them looks similar (except the black one).

I like these sarees; hope they are matched to the kind of character that each of these women play on the show.

The saree revival has benefited from TV serials, so more power to them!

Rutuparna Sengupta – there is something missing

rituparna_sengupta

I might be distantly related to Rutuparna Sengupta, despite that, am I the only one that finds something lacking in her style?

Just doesn’t look right – the silhouette is wrong (makes her look fat), the pleats are all over, giving her a messy look..

Neha Dalvi: A Beautiful Woman in Three Beautiful Sarees

Neha Dalvi is in the running to become Miss India 2010 and her beauty is said to match that of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Sunny recently posted a few photos of Neha. Here are a few other gorgeous shots from her recent photo shoot for Seasons Saree.

Love the saree drape

Image

This drape is not coming back in style any time soon, and I am afraid it will become less and less visible.

This is the problem with wearing the saree only at certain functions, the authenticity of saree as regular wear gets diminished.
