This is really an interesting piece (referring to the saree not Celina), normally when I think of Bandhini style, what comes to mind is a cotton ethnic saree with has certain down to earth quality and is “simple” in terms of other embellishments on the saree.
However, here the saree and the blouse are heavily embellished with zardozi and ornate trim and the result is very pleasing.
I also like the color combination of dark blue with red-orange (looks more like scarlet or vermillion) color. The lehers (the waves in the bandhini design) are well proportioned and the pallu depiction shows the mastery of Bandhini technique.
And I guess Celina is a perpetual contestant in the game of ” Below the navel – how low can you go” Olympic event.
