I like the saree, I really do. It is a Deepti Pruthi saree. I like the chocker neck blouse, I like the lace border (not thrilled with it, but didn’t hate it), But then to add Elie Saab’s shrug on top of it, ruins it all for me..
The delicacy of the lace is gone, sophistication of the shrug is gone, all that is left is a “gathered up curtain” look..as one of the sharp witted user on this site would say.
Looks kinda like late-career Katherine Hepburn, or something. But I do wish I could see more of the blouse. Choker-style tops always look great, really showing off ones shoulders, and I find Mandarin collars especially alluring.
