One very beautiful woman in a saree, on a postcard from a century ago. The back was written all over in Portuguese; no address and never mailed. I don’t know why the title was “Waiting” but I love the image. Luscious pallu, graceful look, and though I’m certain it was pretty in colour, I’m happier with the photograph left in deep sepia, untainted – untinted.

Urvashi Sharma has been missing from the big screen for quite some time now. But the actor did make it to the Stardust Awards recently and must say, she looked lovely in a golden sari with a colourful striped border.

White saree always reminds me of Tanya, who won a beauty contest by wearing plain white saree, because she stood out from all those others with a lot of chamkila stuff.
