The Dream Girl Hema Malini was snapped as she felicitated Vyjayanthimala, at a programme held in Mumbai.

At the event, Hema Malini was all praises for Vyjayanthimala Bali and revealed that she has always been her role model: “I am grateful to get an opportunity to felicitate Vyjayanthimalaji. She was one of the most talented actress of her time. At the same time, she also garnered huge respect as a classical singer. She has always been my role model. After I entered the industry, I tried many times to felicitate her but I didn’t get an opportunity.”

The word felicitate is hardly ever used. It means “to offer congratulations to”. Like I felicitate you on the perfect pleats on your saree.
