I like both of these designs. Something special about the asymmetric blouse designs, I think it elevates the saree from a saree to a real fashion piece.

This is wrong at so many levels! The lahenga does NOTHING for her. It looks like a little potato sack tied to her waist. There is no form to it. The choli is so ill fitting that her body looks disjointed from her neck and let me go in to the awkward positioning of the embroidery on the lahenga. Tassels on the side, instead of enhancing the curves, are just adding more bulk to it.
Ill designed and improperly fitted clothing ruining a woman’s beauty bothers me a lot.
May be I should go and have a nice cup of relaxing tea before I continue.
About $800, in case you are wondering.

Absolutely love this dark black with shimmering silver.

Therich gleam of jewels shining through delicate odhanis, these garments are a sensual delight, gossamer thin silks combined with the mellowed richness of old gold brocades, muted brights, refined and restrained over and over again.
You probably can’t see it here, but there are tiny jhumkis sewn in to the saree!

Nice to see master at work. One could argue that neither one of these is a true saree. So whats your point?
It is a sareesque design and thats good enough.
