Vastrakala Saree : A combination of south and north Indian traditions
Vastrakala sarees are a combination of north and south traditions in sarees.
Most of them from the collections were not noteworthy, but others did successfully combine north and south Indian traditions.
This one is really nicely done! it is a classic south Indian silk saree, but then combined with mirror work and the design of the butties, it becomes an interesting fusion piece.
