Miss Mumbain 2009
Pankti is the winner of the Fair One Miss Mumbai 2009 fashion and beauty pageant held on Nov 1 at Royal Palms hotel, Goregaon. First runner up was Akanksha and second runner up was Divya.
Shabana Azmi at Lakme film festival – reluctantly posted while biting my tongue
I am a fan of Shabana Azmi; but doesn’t mean she get a “get out of jail” free card from me!
These are the few things that I have said of her saree choices:
Shabana Azmi, please take away her license to wear a saree
I can only insult five people a day and I think I have already finished my quota for the day – darn!
Also my mom told me eons ago “son, if you don’t have anything nice to say about somebody… just talk about the weather!” – yes, thats it! what a beautiful day out in southern California today!
Ok, I do have something nice to say about her – how about this; shabana is very inspirational, she is the only one that inspires me to add a new category called “Fugly” in this blog!

I thought it was perfect saree for the occasion. And I understood the simple aspect of it as well – it is glitzy enough but at the same time it leaves enough room to add more glamour to it.
