Plain white saree vs. plain black saree. There are times when plain black saree or plain white saree is as stunning as anything else in the green room, but it takes a special person and a special occasion to make it work.

I generally recommend that you don’t try it, because it is very hard to pull it off and chances that you end up looking under-dressed and coming across as an holier than thou is very high. If you must, then you might want to think about choosing a blouse that at least can help you stand out a bit.
