Absolutely love it! I have been thinking along the same lines for a while now. So unusal, so beautiful, what a way to capture the spirit.
I know, most of you will hate this, but one has to be open minded about this – focus on the influence of saree and not be too traditionalist about the garment.
Sort of reminds me of Nida Mahmood’s saree and jeans design.
I like the concept, and most of the execution – but the white bra showing through has got to go! Something colour-coordinated, please!
i like the idea of it, but once again i think that nicole is such a wanna be indian all of a sudden – she did a jai ho (from slumdog millionaire) remix, wore “indian clothes” and a huge bindi for a concert, and now this. i would like it on anyone else but this wannabe chica.

But I like this one – it is a neat way to do a mash-up of saree and jeans.
I’d much rather have her wear this Indian fusion clothing than have her wear so called “saree” that she put on at the photoshoot.
I was communicating with a rocker girl in AU, she wanted to wear a saree at MTV awards but didn’t because she thought it would be like sucking up to Slumdog movie… So Nicole wears this because she wants to associate with being indian and the other girl doesn’t want to b/c she thinks that it associates her with being Indian.

I do not like Nicole Scherzinger at all(especially because of what she turned Jai Ho in to), but I think this combination is very cool. In a experimental phase only.
I think it would be better if she lost the jeans and wore some basic cotton trousers in stead. Also, I do not understand why she is wearing boots with a sari? High heels are okay but a pretty open toe pump would do better, IMO.
Sunny, I’ve been trying to figure out the saree with jeans look — I think whoever truly does it successfully will have created something almost as great as chocolate and coffee going together — but I can’t manage to find a way to do it without looking like a dork.

wat do u mean, wear it right? in this day and age, there is no right…you can break rules and do your own thing.if you look good, u are atrend setter other wise people want to puke….even if u are traditionally dressed. look at all those done up women in the serials and u will understand

I hate it! People need to make up their minds as to which way they want to go! I agree with fusion fashions, but this is a bit extreme!
I’m sorry but that looks really, hideously ugly. Where do the boots come in at? Why is she wearing a regular bra? The material is pretty, but that’s about as far as I can go with the compliments.
