Sarees from Aavaranaa – I liked some of them and hated a lot of them. Since the fashion photography was notable, I might showcase some more of them over the next couple of weeks.
Aavaranaa celebrates the new age woman and is committed towards unveiling her real beauty and progressive personality. It combines traditional fabrics and craftsmanship with contemporary themes, to create an ensemble that embodies the values of every modern Indian women.
About Aavaranaa:
Creating a niche for itself in the women’s apparel segment, Aavaranaa is an exclusive saree boutique specializing in a variety such as silks, tussars, georgettes, crepes and chiffons. Aavaranaa is currently present in Chennai and in Coimbatore.
A sapling amongst its competitors, Aavaranaa, is still in the nascent stage of development. However, their current retail presence is over 2500 sq ft. Aavaranaa set out to create a revolution in the silk saree segment in Coimbatore in the year 2001 and further stepped into Chennai in 2006.

Well I guess there’s no accounting for taste-I looked at the site and loved all the saris I saw! All interesting and much nicer than some of the unwearable designer rubbish you have posted. But then I am south Indian and love Kajeevaram saris! And the photography is fabulous. Ive Emailed to ask if they ship to the US.
