Don’t think I have seen a saree like this in a drape like this. It just looks a tad incongruent.

Not meant to be congruent — meant to be practical for hard work, still worn this way in some tribal communities.
I am not referring to the drape, which I like; what is incongruent is that the saree is a little “too pretty” and too sophisticated for the kind of drape and and the kind of work that a person wearing such drape is expected to do.
But it looks like polyester, which is tough as nails!!
