Dia Mirza’s white saree
Dia Mirza was at Barcelona for the screening of her short film ‘Zahir’ at 3 GSM World Congress. After she was ready to head for a press conference, she called in the housekeeper of the hotel to make the bed and clean the room. The moment the housekeeper stepped in, she was so shocked to see a lady wearing a saree that she screamed at the top of her voice and ran out.
“Initially, I was a little taken aback and peered harder at the mirror. But later I realized that she hasn’t seen a lady in a sari before. They kept exclaiming in Spanish! They were quite overwhelmed and even wanted to touch and feel the sari,” offers Dia. Now, that’s what our saree does to the rest of the world!

First off if someone saw this lady in a saree draped like this, she might have thought either (A) she was a ghost or (B) that she was a thief (because it looks like she took the bedspread and just threw it on herself)
