I think she looks better in western clothes then in a saree. Or at least every time she puts a saree on, she looks a tad uncomfortable in it.

Not sure if this is a saree or not; but I love the blouse design. There is silver bead work that gives the blouse the form and shape.
I can imagine this blouse, perhaps a tad shorter version of it, would go well with a saree with appropriate bead work on it, may be just on the border or a small part of the pallu.

Considering the last two sarees from Satya Paul that I posted received such a strong reaction; everybody thought that the sarees weren’t particularly attractive and one of reader threaten to sue me for showing the bright Orange saree which is giving her bad dreams; I figured I’ll try one more time to show some interesting design.

The reason why Satya Paul sarees show up more often than other ones is because his designs are innovative and fresh and at times startling. They might not always look the best or sometime the designs are so over powering that the saree takes over the person, but they allow us to explore the boundaries. You can’t make progress if always stay within what you know and are comfortable with.
Same is true for design.
