Nandana Sen is known for prancing around in short skirts, but she is not just another Bollywood hottie who bears the Sen name (think Ria, Raima, Sushmita and others). Nandana is the daughter of Nobel laureate economist Amartya Sen and Padma shree Nabanita Deb Sen, one of the most prominent authors in the contemporary Bengali literature establishment. Nandana Sen is an intellectual in her own right, combining beauty with brains.

I think the picture is too busy, she has flowers, jewelry and then a very ornate pallu; the combo doesn’t look so good in picture.

However, with flowers, one has to give a benefit of the doubt because in person, the flowers don’t interfere with the look as much as the ornate and gaudy jewelry does.
