Sigh.. this what I call “faux” avant garde saree. Take a saree, find a color that clashes with the color of the saree and make a blouse out of it.

That’s not how design works! This is so amateurish, to say the least.

The color of the saree and blouse can be different, but it doesn’t mean that the colors are independent of each other.

I respect her for what she has done; she was the first person to wear bikini in Indian cinema and her public service has been exemplary; but I hope she exercises her own judgment in picking the sarees to wear. Don’t follow a trend, just because it is a “trend”.  Trends should never ever take over your design sense.
