Not my favorite, but it’s an interesting one – goes better with Lehnga then saree but can be modified for saree too.

I like it. May be not the “matching” waist band (where matching means mindless extension of same fabric) but co-ordinated waist band.
I can see Ritu Beri designing something that has a soft colored saree, a contrasting blouse and then top it off with a waist band that coordinates either with the blouse or with the border on the pallu.
